My son and his girlfriend used to live back in a spooky building on the site of the 1600s prison where the “witches” from our village were held (and now live somewhere with a view of the meadow where they were hung)
When our grand daughter was about 15-18 months old we showed her the bars to the prison cell opposite her old house and she was waving at “someone” even though you can barely see through the bars, it’s now the basement to the house next door,we did get video of her acting very psychic at that time (I don’t know if I blogged it here somewhere)
Anyway last week we were going to the park and passed by so we thought we would show her again, before we told her about the prison history ,that I doubt she would remember from the first time anyway, and does she have understanding as to what prison means at age three ?
We just stood and watched her at first and she announced “people are trapped in there”!!! We then explained the prison thing
That window is the kitchen window of the flat she used to live in,she was very thoughtful
She spotted something we could not see at her old flat
What is left of the 1600s prison, an old cell where the witches from our village were held,now a basement of a house but the bars are original to the prison,she said ” people were trapped” it is at these bars that people have seen spirit people begging for food
I did a quick investigation at my sons old flat and picked up the voices of children, it was not uncommon for children of prisoners to also be locked up
We also investigated a pub that has the original huge oak prison doors that would of once closed the alley way off
And then I was asked to investigate another building in that road,the history is palpable, wish I had more time with those investigations
